Appliance Producer Gorenje Opens First Czech Retail Studio Apr 21, 2011

Slovenian appliance OEM Gorenje launched a retail network of branded professional kitchen studios in the Czech Republic, intending to boost Czech sales of kitchen furniture and home appliances. The first model kitchen studio, Kuchyně Gorenje, opened Apr. 15, 2011 in City Park Jihlava.

Gorenje intends to build a network of branded professional kitchen studios in order to boost sales of both kitchen furniture as well as home appliances. They also established a new customer service centre at the location of Gorenje warehouse in Prague.
"Our goal is to grow to become one of the top three names in the higher-end kitchen market in Czech Republic," says David Tenora, commercial director of Gorenje - real company. "By the end of 2011 we plan to have “up and running” upgraded network of 32 kitchen studios. In 2012 we will continue expanding to selected locations as per the geographic plan. Our optimal final number of kitchen studios is 54."
