After brisk snow thrower sales in the winter of 2010-2011, Ariens Corp. is accelerating snow thrower manufacturing. The Green Bay Press Gazette reported that Ariens was at a Northeast Wisconsin Technical College job fair yesterday looking for candidates to fill temporary and permanent manufacturing positions.

Ariens Corp. (Brillon, WI, U.S.) Human Resources Manager Tom Flis, quoted in the Gazette report, said the company would probably increase snow thrower production by 40% and needed to fill about 300 seasonal positions – assemblers and fabricators - that would last through December of this year. The company also was hiring full-time machinists and welders."
