Aga Rangemaster Acquires Redfyre Cookers Apr 5, 2011

UK-based cooking appliance maker AGA Rangemaster Group plc acquired UK's Redfyre Cookers and allied businesses Don Heating Products from Gazco Ltd. The combined businesses have annual revenue of about £1 million. Aga will pay about £0.75 million for the businesses.

Redfyre started in the 1930s and today sells cast iron oil, gas, and electric range cookers. Aga said Redfyre has much in common with its Irish based Stanley operation and the two brands will work closely together in the future.

Don has long been an aftermarket supplier of parts for cast iron range cookers, including Aga, Rayburn, Stanley, and Redfyre, and Aga said the business fits with its product upgrade program.
