Fisher & Paykel Appliances extended its agreement with Haier for the supply of motors and other components and technology. The agreement extends earlier supply agreements with Haier.

The supply arrangement is for an initial period of three years, with provision for annual renewals for up to seven more years. F&P anticipated revenues of NZ$20 million to NZ$35 million annually from the arrangement.
