Fisher & Paykel Chairman Waters Retires, Turner Takes Over Mar 2, 2011

Ralph Waters retired from his position as chairman of the board of New Zealand-based Fisher & Paykel Appliances Holdings Ltd. and will be replaced by Dr. Keith Turner.

Waters announced at the F&P 2010 annual shareholders meeting that he would retire in the first half of 2011. He spent nine years with F&P.

F&P also appointed Willem (Bill) Roest a director, filling the vacancy created by the retirement of Ralph Waters. Roest is the Chief Financial Officer of Fletcher Building Ltd.
