Middleby Sales and Profits Up in 2010

Commercial foodservice appliance maker The Middleby Corp. reported 2010 net sales of $719.1 million, compared to $646.6 million in 2009. Gross 2010 profit was $286.7 million, up from $250.6 million in 2009.

Net earnings were $72.9 million, up from $61.156 million in 2009.

In 2010 Middleby acquired PerfectFry as a part of its Commercial Foodservice and Cozzini as part of its Food Processing businesses.

For the fourth quarter of 2010 Middleby reported net earnings of $20,994,000 on net sales of $207,233,000, compared to fourth quarter 2009 net earnings of $17,874,000 on net sales of $152,493,000.
