Husqvarna launched a third generation of its Automower line of robotic lawn mowers. The 305 robotic lawnmower for the European market is a compact and lightweight (7 kg) unit designed for homeowners with smaller gardens with lawns, up to 500 m2. The unit is equipped with a rechargeable Li-lon battery.
The light weight is intended to provide easy mobility to move between separated lawn areas and it is equipped, like other Husqvarna robotic mowers, with an anti theft system with an alarm and a personal PIN code, rendering the unit useless if stolen.
The unit is also designed to make robotic mowing affordable for more homeowners. The unit is designed to operate in near silence and it creates no emissions. The unit has a suggested retail price of EUR 1490 (approx. US$2050).
