Fagor Industrial, the commercial foodservice appliances business of Spain's Fagor Group, engineered its new Advance freezer cabinets to offer significantly improved energy efficiency in ambient environments of up to 43°C (109°F).
The new design puts the compact refrigeration unit outside of the cold chamber. The access door to the refrigerator motor is hinged and located at the back. It has an airtight compressor with a ventilated condenser and an evaporator located outside the chamber, resulting in greater storage capacity.
Fagor Industrial designed the Advance cabinets, with their 60 mm layer of injected polyurethane insulation, to cut energy consumption by 15% compared to similar models in its product line. The unit uses R404 as a refrigerant. The cabinet materials are 99% recyclable and interiors are LED-lit for further energy savings.
Cabinet interiors and exteriors are manufactured with austenitic stainless steel (with 7% nickel) for greater corrosion resistance.
