Chinese appliance maker Haier Group formed a eco-friendly technology development agreement with U.S.-based Honeywell. The companies intend to co-develop products with high energy efficiency and low emissions. Honeywell said the Haier products will extend beyond appliances to include energy-efficient home furnishings, building automation, security systems, and other technologies.
