Stihl's subsidiary in India, Andreas Stihl Pvt. Ltd., is expanding its operations with the addition of warehousing, engine testing, service, and training, according to India's Business Standard. BS said Andreas Stihl, a wholly owned subsidiary of German outdoor power equipment maker Andreas Stihl AG, established the new operations in Chakan, Pune, India. BS said Stihl wants to add 500 dealers in India in the coming three years.
Stihl product manufacturing is scheduled to come to India within the next two years.
