Home appliances/consumer electronics producer Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. reported preliminary consolidated sales of approx. 41 trillion Korean won (approx. US$36 billion) and consolidated operating profit of approx. 3.0 trillion won (approx. $2.7 billion). Samsung's full 4Q earnings will be reported following its board of directors' approval of the financial statements and quarterly reports.
