Seasonally adjusted shipments in the Electrical Equipment, Appliances, and Components category, reported by the U.S. Census Bureau, were $9,698 million in November 2010, up 0.3% from $9,670 million in October 2010. Shipments in this category were up 21.2% September to October.
Year-to-date, not seasonally adjusted shipments for November 2010 were $104,802 million, up 6.1% from $98,747 million in November 2009.
NEW ORDERS: Seasonally adjusted new orders in the Electrical Equipment, Appliances, and Components category were $10,463 million in November 2010, up 5,6% from $9,906 million in October 2010.
Year-to-date, not seasonally adjusted new orders were $109,660 million, up 12.7% from $97,335 in November 2009.
