Thermoset bulk molding materials supplier Bulk Molding Compounds, Inc. named Fran Zappitelli its new president. Zappitelli will lead all BMCI operations worldwide and will report to Mike Huff, CEO, Citadel Plastics Holdings, Inc.
Zappitelli joined BMCI in 1980 and was most recently executive vice president, research & development and purchasing.
BMCI serves the electrical, consumer appliance, power tool, conductive plastic, and other industries. The company specializes in supplying materials for metal replacement, including structural applications in which heat and mechanical load are relevant. BMCI has two manufacturing sites in the U.S., as well as facilities in Mexico, Germany, China, and Brazil.
