A new fire tube design is used on the recently launched wall-mounted versions of the Knight heating boiler from Lochinvar.
The models were designed to provide contractors with the capability of serving every application, including a range of inputs from 55,000 to 399,000 Btu/hr, for residential or light-duty commercial applications. For higher demand installations, the OEM offers the Smart System operating control with a built-in cascading sequencer that allows up to eight units to be installed, delivering up to 3.2 million Btu/hr heating capacity.
The units offer up to 99% thermal efficiency, low-NOx emissions, and a fully modulating burner. A fully modulating 5:1 turndown burner allows the unit to keep fuel use to a minimum by adjusting heat output according to demand.
