The Consumer Electronics Association (CEA) has named the 2010 Five Technology Trends to Watch in the year ahead. They are:
• technology and privacy
• the future of video distribution and consumption
• mobile broadband and 4G
• green technology
• the future of apps

A CEA publication for industry professionals was released, analyzing each trend and outlining issues and market forecasts.

The publication also includes a section dedicated to the key question: Are we changing technology to suit our needs, or is technology changing us?
