GE adopted the EcoView Residential energy management system from Advanced Telemetry select energy conscious home builders across North America.
GE is working with a select group of home builders and developers to design homes that achieve at least a 20% reduction in household energy usage, indoor water consumption, and overall carbon emissions as compared to industry-accepted average new homes. The residential energy management system will be integral to helping homeowners consistently achieve this high level of energy efficiency and benefit from the related cost savings.
The homes being built by the GE customers will be equipped with other GE products, including GE Energy Star appliances and Energy Smart compact fluorescent lighting.
