Motoman Robotics Breaks Ground on new HQ Aug 19, 2010

Ground was broken in August for Motoman Robotics’ new headquarters facility in Miamisburg, OH. The new facility will also serve its main manufacturing facility for North and South American operations. The 300,000 sq ft office and production facility will eventually house staff currently in the company's West Carrollton, OH headquarters, along with a manufacturing plant and a warehouse currently located in Troy, OH.

A Motoman SDA10D dual-arm robot known as Dexter Bot (pictured) donned a hard hat and turned the first shovel of dirt.

Construction will take about 10 months and is expected to be complete in June 2011.
