Procter & Gamble's PUR Water Filtration launches a new line of faucet mount filtration systems said to be the first and only faucet mount design that installs with one easy click. The filter offers up to 100 gallons of drinking water. The new design installs with no tools and can be easily disconnected when needed.

The company's filters use an activated carbon microfilter as its primary method of reducing contaminants. The company's faucet mount filters are NSF certified to reduce certain industrial and agricultural pollutants, heavy metals, sediments, and chlorine by-products. The one-click faucet mount removes 99% of lead, trace levels of pharmaceuticals and microbial cysts. However, the PUR filters are designed to leave fluoride in the water, which is important for developing and maintaining healthy teeth in children and adults.

PUR also offers water pitchers and water dispensers, and partners with Whirlpool Corp. to provide water filtration in water dispensers in refrigerators sold under the Whirlpool, Maytag, Amana, and KitchenAid brand names.
