Stockholm-based outdoor power equipment maker Husqvarna will open a factory in Mielec, Poland, to make lawnmowers according to a report in European Plastics News. The report says a 25,000 sq-mm plant should start up before the end of 2010 with the manufacturing capacity to make 35,000 riding lawn mowers, and 130,000 push mowers.
