May Steel Shipments Up 4.1%

The American Iron and Steel Institute (AISI) said U.S. steel mills shipped 7,345,455 net tons of steel in May 2010 for a 4.1 % increase from the 7,057,660 net tons shipped in April. May 2010 also showed a 71.6% increase from the 4,281,986 net tons shipped in May 2009.
