A. Schulman, Inc., supplier of high-performance plastic compounds and resins to the appliance and other industries, named Francisco Castillo the managing director of Mexico, effective July 1, 2010. He will report to Gustavo Perez, Business Unit Leader of Masterbatch for the Americas.
Castillo served for 10 years as president and CEO of ThyssenKrupp Mexinox, S.A., a stainless steel cold rolling operation based in San Luis Potosi, Mexico, and business unit of Germany-based ThyssenKrupp AG Group. Prior to that, he held a variety of positions with responsibilities in areas such as finance, production, and purchasing since joining ThyssenKrupp Mexinox in 1988.
