Ferrous Metal Processing began work on an expansion of its hydrogen annealing facility in Cleveland, OH. The expansion will double its current output capacity when the new capacity goes online in January 2011.
The LOI high efficiency, 100% hydrogen batch furnaces are engineered to be the latest design and will have Siemens drives and controls so that processed material will have predictable, consistent quality and a smut-free surface.
The LOI bases will be integrated with the six Ebner furnaces in the current Ferrous facility. The four LOI units, which have a 212-inch stack height and can handle 72-inch coils, will have the same output capacity as the six Ebner units.
