HVAC Associations ABRAVA and KRAIA Appoint Leaders Jun 21, 2010

The Air-Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Institute (AHRI), which serves as the secretariat for the International Council of Air-Conditioning, Refrigeration, and Heating Manufacturers' Associations (ICARHMA), announced leadership appointments at two ICARHMA members.

The Brazilian Refrigeration, Air Conditioning and Ventilation Industry Association (ABRAVA) Associated Members appointed Samoel Vieira de Souza as president of the ABRAVA administrative council and board of directors for a three-year period.

The board of the Korea Refrigeration and Air-conditioning Industry Association (KRAIA) appointed Hwanyong Nho as chairman of the association at the General Meeting.

Samoel, currently president of air-conditioning company CACR Engenharia e Instalações Ltda., will assume his operational position on July 1, 2010. Mr. Hwanyong Nho, president and CEO, Air Conditioning Company of LG Electronics, became KRAIA CHAIRMAN on June 1, 2010.
