U.S. Brand Westinghouse Moves into Taiwan Jun 15, 2010

Westinghouse Digital, a leading U.S.-based LCD manufacturer, is extending its brand into the Taiwan market through a partnership with W&W Appliance Inc.

"Taiwan today continues to be the nexus of high technology development," said Rey Roque, vice president of marketing for Westinghouse Digital in the United States. "The Taiwan market is therefore a very important market for us to showcase the world class design, performance and feature sets of the new line of Westinghouse LED and LCD televisions."

The producer described the new HDTV models as "statement" technology, providing a vivid picture as well as energy efficiency, with all models meeting or exceeding Energy Star 4.0 ratings.
