German-based OEM Miele was named Best Domestic Appliance Brand in the annual UK Which? Awards. The awards were launched in 2007 to recognize companies and manufacturers that consistently excel in their customer offering.

The tagline of "Who cares, wins" for this year’s awards put even more focus on the customer experience.

Which? said Miele is top-rated for reliability and customer scores in most of the areas it operates in. "Its products aren’t the cheapest but they’ve performed remarkably well in recent Which? tests," it reported. Which? also shortlisted the AEG-Electrolux brand from Sweden's Electrolux and the Bosch brand from Germany's BSH Bosch and Siemens Home Appliances.
