The National Bureau of Statistics of China said Household Appliances and AV Equipment sales were ¥29 billion (approx. US$4.2 billion), an increase of 34.3% from April 2009. Year-to-date sales were ¥118.6 billion (approx. $17.4 billion), up 30.7% from the same period in 2009.
