Appliance components supplier Copreci S. Coop., part of the Spain's Mondragon Corp., acquired the machinery and goods of gas components manufacturer Isphording Hispania Inc.
Copreci makes components for domestic appliances at production sites in Mexico, Brazil, Italy, Czech Republic, Turkey, and China, with an estimated turnover of 200 million euros for 2010. This Isphording acquisition consolidates Copreci's position in the market by adding to its range of Professional Cooking products. The new company, Altsasuko S. Coop., will be formed as a co-operative under the control of the Copreci Group, with a workforce made up entirely of former Isphording workers.
