The global economic crisis has motivated many corporations to refocus on research and development, according to a McKinsey survey.
Four in ten respondents said R&D budgets and activity has increased in 2010 and the survey results show that executives are very optimistic R&D initiatives undertaken during the recession will benefit the company in the next 3-5 years.
