Electrolux's business in the Philippines expects sales to grow in 2010, according to a report in Business World Online. Report author Jessica Anne D. Hermosa notes comments by a Electrolux Philippines, Inc., official saying the economy is expected to improve and consumers show more willingness to buy premium-priced appliances.
Electrolux also showed growth, " nearly double-digits," in the Philippines in 2009, General Manager Malu P. Estaris is quoted as saying.
Electrolux Philippines has a line of white goods (major) appliances, including laundry appliances and kitchen appliances, and frost-free refrigerators are its anchor product in this market, the report said.
