Consolidated 2009 figures announced in February by European appliance maker Indesit Company were confirmed by the company board.
The net profit for the group was €34.5 million, compared to €55.5 million in 2008.
Revenues for the year were €2,613.0 million, down 17.2% from €3,154.9 million in 2008. At constant exchange rates, sales in 2009 amounted to €2,790.0m, down 11.6%.
Net financial indebtedness was down to €290.2 million, an improvement of €183.6 million on €473.8 million at 31st December 2008. The figure is down €228.0 million on the €518.2 million posted at 30th September 2009.
