LG Electronics (M) Sdn Bhd has appointed Jeff Cheh Jinhak as its new managing director and CEO.
Cheh, who was previously leading LGE Singapore Pte Ltd, will now helm LG for both Malaysia and Singapore.
He replaces T.Y. Ko, who is heading LG’s operations in Vietnam. In his new capacity, Cheh’s responsibilities encompass further development and execution of LG’s business strategies and operational efficiency planning for Malaysia and Singapore and in selected emerging Asian markets such as Sri Lanka, Pakistan and Bangladesh.
The appliance manufacturer has also appointed Arthur Huang as chief operating officer of LG Electronics Singapore.
Huang, who was appointed corporate marketing director of LG Electronics Asia in 2008, will now manage all business matters relating to the company’s sales and distribution growth, marketing, and operations in Singapore. He reports directly to Cheh.
