Whirlpool Corp. announced the appointment of William D. Perez, former president and chief executive officer of Wm. Wrigley Jr. Company to its board of directors.
Perez was president and CEO of Wm. Wrigley Jr. Company from 2006 to 2008, when it was acquired by Mars, Incorporated. Perez is currently a director of Johnson & Johnson and Campbell Soup Company.
