Haier Enters Iranian Market Dec 18, 2009

Haier Group held opening ceremonies for its three new high-end exhibition halls in Tehran, Iran on Sunday, which marks that Haier's full production line is available in the Middle East country, said a China Knowledge report.

The report said that Haier is working closely with its local partners to brand and market Haier products in Iran, as well as to establish an effective after-sales service network.

Haier has started selling washing machines in Iran since the 1990s, and has gained recognition from Iranian customers. Haier has also mapped out a strategic plan to intensify its overseas marketing campaign to deal with the ongoing financial crisis, the report said.
