Sears Holdings Corp. said it lost US$127 million, or $1.09 per share, for the period ended Oct. 31. That compares with a loss of $146 million, or $1.16 per share, a year earlier. Third-quarter revenue fell 4% to $10.19 billion. Sales at all domestic stores open at least a year, including both Sears and Kmart, dropped 2.3%.
Sears sait it has about 3900 full-line and specialty retail stores in the U.S. and Canada.
