Retail sales in the United States increased 1.4% in October, said a U.S. Commerce Report. Yet, sales at elecronics stores fell 0.8%, the report said. Sales were flat at gasoline service stations and posted a 0.2% rise at grocery stores. Department store sales grew 0.3%.
