Intertek Issues First ETLEU Product Safety Certification to Haier Nov 10, 2009

Intertek issued its first ETLEU product safety certification to Haier, one of the world’s leading white goods manufacturers, for its new Split Type Room Air-Conditioner.

ETLEU is a voluntary pan-European Union product safety certification mark developed for manufacturers who want to demonstrate that their products have undergone independent product safety testing and comply with relevant European product safety standards. The ETLEU Mark does not replace the existing CE Marking system of manufacturer self declaration of safety. This mark provides manufacturers, authorities, retailers and consumers with evidence of third-party testing and truth behind product safety claims for products sold throughout Europe.
