Electrolux Invest in Concept Stores in Malaysia Oct 12, 2009

Electrolux plans to invest MYR2.5 million (approx. US$735,000) to set up new concept stores around Malaysia next year, said a Business Times report.

Koh Soh Hoie, Electrolux home appliances general manager, said the group planned to build 10 new concept stores, which would be complete one-stop centers for all Electrolux products in 2010. Koh said the group has an existing store in Penang but it did not feature the new concept style.

Locations for the new concept stores have not yet been finalized, the report said.

According to Suresh, the market in Malaysia has been growing well and Electrolux is not badly affected by the current economic downturn.
