Miele has gained NSF approval for its G 7859 commercial freshwater dishwasher, which uses fresh water for every cycle where most other commercial dishwashers are tank systems, which reuse water from previous cycles and can be louder, the company says. According to the company, the dishwasher provides dual level cleaning and sanitizes with a high rinse temperature that reaches 185° F for 1 minute, providing the necessary sanitation to meet NSF standards without caustic chemicals.

Miele says that even though the G 7859 uses fresh water for every cycle it uses little water -- 6.6 gallons per cycle. The programmable wash cycles range from 85°F to elevated sanitation levels of up to 200°F.
