Elgin Fastener Group announced the promotion of Phil King to vice president/Manufacturing. He most recently served as plant manager at Ohio Rod Products, a position he has held since January 2004. He was originally hired as a sales correspondent at Ohio Rod, a division of EFG, in April 1986 and was promoted to stocking supervisor in January 1994; in 2001 he transferred to the production side of Ohio Rod and began training as the eventual replacement to Kent Carter as plant manager.
