Mower manufacturer Excel Industries, Inc., which makes of Hustler Turf Equipment, said it will rehire 11 workers due to an increased production schedule for the remainder of 2009. In February, Excel experienced a small reduction in work force due to a downturn in sales but recently rehired 30% of those workers to help meet current production demands.
