Scotsman Shifts Los Angeles Branch to Distributors Sep 9, 2009

Mark McClanahan, president Scotsman Ice Systems (Americas) has announced the closing of the company’s Los Angeles branch effective Sept. 30, 2009; shifting sales and distribution to two experienced local independent ice machine distribution companies.

W. Myers Inc. has been appointed the new Scotsman distribution partner for California and Nevada. Myers has been an ice distributor since 1996.

American Refrigeration Supplies has been appointed the new Scotsman distribution partner for Arizona, New Mexico and El Paso, Texas. ARS is a refrigeration products distributor with 15 locations and will work with Total Source Reps to cover the foodservice channel.
