Chinese appliance maker Haier today announced a major European cricket club sponsorship.
The company will formally announce its sponsorship of Worcestershire County Cricket Club when Worcester plays Northamptonshire on April 30.
Worcester players will sport the distinctive Haier pink square logo on their white playing shirts and sweaters in all Frizzell County Championship and Cheltenham and Gloucester Trophy matches in 2003. Four 24-ft long advertising boards will be displayed at the County Ground for all matches.
A competition for fans to win a Haier product will be a feature in every match day program for every home game.
According to Haier, the aim is to develop a close relationship with the club and its supporters over the coming season. Back
