Ener-G-Rotors, Inc., a manufacturer of systems to turn low temperature heat into electricity announced a US$800,000 project with the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority to build a 50kW prototype system that will convert heat to electricity. Ener-G-Rotors products are designed to be economical, reportedly providing a payback as short as two years. They are modular, so they can fit in any industrial setting, and non-disruptive, with minimal maintenance needs and attendance free operation, the company says.
