Ethernet Alliance Announces Call for Papers Jul 2, 2009

The Ethernet Alliance announced a call for papers for its Technology Exploration Forum, Sept. 15 in Santa Clara, CA, U.S. The Forum will discuss the future networking needs for the adoption and deployment of the 40 Gigabit and 100 Gigabit Ethernet Family. Potential topics for discussion include, but are not limited to:

* Carrier Needs for 40GbE / 100GbE
* Data Center needs for 40GbE/100GbE
* Serial 40GbE over SMF for Carrier Networks
* 40GbE over duplex MMF for Data Centers
* 40GbE / 100GbE Over Twisted Pair
* 25Gb/s Electrical and Optical Signaling
* Next Generation Optical Modules
