Walmart U.S. announced that it will create more than 22,000 jobs in 2009 to staff new or expanded stores in the United States. The company will create more than 1000 jobs in several individual states. For example, the company will create approximately 1300 jobs in Arizona; 1000 jobs in California; 1300 jobs in Florida; 1500 jobs in Michigan; 1200 jobs in New Jersey; 1000 jobs in South Carolina; 1200 jobs in Utah and 1100 in Virginia.
