Vizio Files TV Patent Infringement Lawsuit against LG Electronics Jun 8, 2009

Vizio has filed an infringement lawsuit in the United States District Court for the District of Maryland against LG Electronics, Inc. In the suit, Vizio alleges that LG infringes numerous Vizio patents in its manufacturing, importation, and distribution of certain products, including high-definition televisions.

Vizio is seeking an injunction prohibiting LG from importing and selling infringing high-definition televisions and is also seeking award of damages for past infringing sales.
