Trane has introduced a web site – www.trane.com/engineer-- that serves as a location for engineers to stay in touch with new Trane products, systems, and solutions. It includes a complete literature library, along with product specific performance data, guide specifications, and CAD files. It offers access to design and analysis tools to analyze, design, and select the optimal system for specific cooling needs.

Also included is a Popular Systems Configuration (PSC) library, which is a web-based tool that
provides engineers with information about select systems, based on a user-initiated selection
process. From there, a common System Configuration solution is identified, providing the user with
a sequence of operation, an IO points list, and a flow sketch.

While visiting the Trane Site for Engineers, specifiers have another opportunity to access existing
American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning (ASHRAE) and Leadership in
Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) tools and resources.
