Dacor Wins ADEX Design Awards May 13, 2009

Dacor received three ADEX (Awards for Design Excellence) Awards for superior product design in the kitchen appliance category. Dacor was awarded platinum ADEX honors for its Renaissance Gas Cooktop and Renaissance Wall Oven and a silver ADEX honor for the Epicure 36-inch Built-In Refrigerator.

The Renaissance Gas Cooktop was chosen, in part, for its Illumina Burner Controls that indicate when a burner is active with a brilliant blue glow and the professional level control of the SimmerSear™ Burners. The Renaissance Wall Oven received its platinum honor for its six individual cooking modes. The Epicure 36-inch Built-In Refrigerator was chosen, in part, for its conveniently located electronic controls that assist users in determining the ideal temperature to ensure food maintains its freshness.
