The Ministry of Economy, Trade, and Industry (METI) released the report "Japanese State-of-the-art Smart Energy Products &Technologies," a publication on technologies for energy conservation and renewable energy. The report is a compilation of technologies, products, and information on corporate members belonging to the apanese Business Alliance for Smart Energy Worldwide. It provides information on 162 of the latest products and technologies, and covers seven fields: Factories, Electricity, Petrochemicals, Residences, Offices, Construction and Transport, and Iron and Steel.
