Zojirushi Enters New Electrics Segments Mar 24, 2009

Zojirushi has entered into two new categories with the recent introduction of its first Electric Kettle and Induction Heating Pressure Rice Cooker & Warmer. The company is showcasing the items this week at the International Home + Housewares Show in Chicago.

"his is the first induction heating pressure rice cooker in the United States," said Marilyn Matsuba, marketing manager at Zojirushi. "As a company that leads the industry in quality and technology in the rice cooker field, we felt that it was important that we offer the best rice cooker out there."

The Electric Kettle, designed by Toshiyuki Kita, is designed to be a safer kettle than what is currently on the market, according to Zojirushi.
